When will the legacy, on-premises archive be retired?

The NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) is migrating its primary data access from its legacy, on-premises archive to the NASA Earthdata Cloud. During this transition, data access will be phased out by collection from the on-premises archive. 

To help users prepare for these changes, we list below the key retirement dates for the on-premises data archive. Each retirement date will be announced to registered users in advance and posted to the Data Announcements page. You can sign up for email updates by visiting the Data Announcement page for your specific data collection using the links below.
