Sea Ice Concentration CDR has been processed through 2019

NOAA@NSIDC is pleased to announce that the NOAA@NSIDC Climate Data Record of Passive Microwave Sea Ice Concentration, Version 3 data set has been updated to include the time period of 01 January 2019 through 31 December 2019. This data set provides a provides a consistent, daily and monthly time series of sea ice concentrations from 09 July 1987 through 31 December 2019 for both the north and south polar regions on a 25 km x 25 km grid. Note that the 2019 data for near-real-time (NRT) version of this data set called the Near-Real-Time NOAA@NSIDC Climate Data Record of Passive Microwave Sea Ice Concentration, Version 1 has been removed since the final processed version supersedes the NRT version. If you have the 2019 NRT data, we suggest that you download and replace it with the 2019 final processed version of this data set.
