Submit Data to Other NSIDC Programs

NSIDC has been managing data programs for NASA, NOAA and NSF for decades. Our current active data management programs include the NASA NSIDC Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC), NOAA@NSIDC, and Exchange for Local Observations and Knowledge of the Arctic (ELOKA).

Please note that the primary program accepting data currently is the NSIDC DAAC, which publishes data from NASA missions and projects that have been assigned to the DAAC. The NSIDC DAAC can also publish data from NASA-funded data producers who have been approved for archival at the DAAC.

Each of our data management programs take a different approach to accepting and managing data submission requests. The NSIDC DAAC is accepting requests to publish data resulting from NASA Earth science funding and that are relevant to understanding the Earth's frozen regions and their role in global climate.

If you're not sure which program best fits your data submission needs or if you're interested in talking with NSIDC about managing your data program, please contact us.

Publish your data with NOAA@NSIDC

The NOAA team at NSIDC receives limited financial support for archiving and publishing new data sets. We are always interested discussing how to help publish data that would broadly impact scientific research.

Preserve and manage your data with ELOKA

The Exchange for Observations and Local Knowledge of the Arctic (ELOKA) program works with Indigenous Peoples across the Arctic and beyond to collect, preserve, and exchange local observations and Indigenous Knowledge.
