New version available: ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Slope-Corrected Land Ice Height Time Series, Version 6

Version 6 of the ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Slope-Corrected Land Ice Height Time Series (ATL11) data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), is now available. This data set provides time series of land-ice surface heights derived from the ICESat-2 ATL06 Land Ice Height product. It is intended primarily as an input for higher level gridded products, but can also be used on its own as a spatially organized product that allows easy access to height-change information derived from ICESat-2 observations.  Changes to this version are detailed in Section 3 Version History of the user guide. Data now span 29 March 2019 to 16 April 2023 (cycles 3 through 19).

Version 5 of this data set will be retired from the NSIDC DAAC in six months. Upon retirement, data will no longer be accessible. All related documentation will remain available on the data set web page for future reference.
