The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Monthly 3-Month Gridded Dynamic Ocean Topography (ATL23), Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains gridded averages of dynamic ocean topography (DOT) over midlatitude, north-polar, and south-polar grids derived from the along-track ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Ocean Surface Height product (ATL12). Data are averaged over a 3-month sliding window that advances in monthly increments. Spatial coverage spans the world’s oceans from approximately 88° N to 88° S. Temporal coverage is currently from 14 October 2018 to 31 May 2023 and will be updated regularly.
