The data access location for the Nimbus-5 ESMR Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures, Version 2 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has changed. This data set consists of brightness temperatures arrays acquired from the Electrically Scanning Microwave Radiometer (ESMR) on board the Nimbus-5 satellite. The data are in 2-byte integer, flat-binary format and available on the 25 km Northern and 25 km Southern Polar Stereographic projections. These data are available from 11 December 1972 through 16 May 1977.
