Data set update: ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Slope-Corrected Land Ice Height Time Series, Version 5

The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Slope-Corrected Land Ice Height Time Series, Version 5 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated to include data from cycle 15 of the ATLAS/ICESat-2 mission. This data set provides time series of land-ice surface heights derived from the ICESat-2 ATL06 Land Ice Height product. It is intended primarily as an input for higher level gridded products, but can also be used on its own as a spatially organized product that allows easy access to height-change information derived from ICESat-2 observations.  Data now span 29 March 2019 (beginning of cycle 3) to 21 June 2022 (end of cycle 15).

As a reminder, these data sets are now also available in NASA Earthdata Cloud.
