NSIDC is pleased to announce that the Polar Pathfinder Daily 25 km EASE-Grid Sea Ice Motion Vectors data set has been updated to Version 2. Version 2 includes updated data through 31 December 2012 for both hemispheres.
And for the Northern Hemisphere, Version 2 also includes raw ice motion vector data from two new sources: 89V GHz channel data from the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer - Earth Observing System (AMSRE), and wind data derived from National Centers for Environmental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCEP/NCAR) Reanalysis Data.
