The right graph shows the seasonal SWE accumulation (peak SWE plus spring snowfall) versus snow disappearance date in 2022, summarized from snow monitoring stations in each state (squares). For states where snow remains at stations as of June 1, there are two squares connected by an arrow, which shows snow disappearance based on statistical estimates.
