Version 5 of multiple ATLAS/ICESat-2 along-track data sets will be retired from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) on 19 December 2023. After this date, access to the data will no longer be available, but the data set documentation will remain accessible for future reference. We recommend using Version 6 of these data sets, which has been available since 28 June 2023. Details about the latest version can be found under “Version Summary” on each data set’s web page, and a version history is included in Section 3 of the User Guides.
