The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Calibrated Backscatter Profiles and Atmospheric Layer Characteristics (ATL09), Version 5 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), experienced a processing error for files with dates from 10 August through 12 October 2022. Data from these dates have been reprocessed and replaced with new files. New files will have an updated revision number in the file name, e.g. ATL09_20221012203303_03381701_005_02.h5. We strongly recommend users replace previously downloaded files with updated rev02 files.
