ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Weekly Gridded Atmosphere (ATL16), Version 6, ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Monthly Gridded Atmosphere (ATL17), Version 6, ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Monthly Gridded Dynamic Ocean Topography, Version 4, ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Monthly 3-Month Gridded Dynamic Ocean Topography, Version 2, and ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Mean Inland Surface Water Data (ATL22), Version 4 are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). These data sets contain higher level products derived from the Advanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System (ATLAS) instrument on board the ICESat-2 observatory: Atmospheric parameters such as cloud fraction and optical depth (ATL16 & ATL17), gridded ocean topography which can be used for calculating sea surface height (ATL19 & ATL23), and mean inland surface water properties (ATL22).
Previous versions of these data will be retired from the NSIDC DAAC in 6 months time. Upon retirement, data will no longer be accessible, but all related documentation will remain available on the data set web page for future reference.
