Version 2 of Arctic Sea Ice Seasonal Change and Melt/Freeze Climate Indicators from Satellite Data, Version 2, is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This new version includes updates to input data sources and extends the temporal coverage through 2024. More information about the new version is available in the user guide.
Version 1 of this data set will be retired from the NSIDC DAAC on 20 April 2026. Upon retirement, the data will no longer be accessible, but all related documentation will remain available on the dataset web page for future reference.
