ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Mission Composite Gridded Terrain and Canopy Elevation Parameters, Version 1 (ATL18) and ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Monthly Gridded Terrain and Canopy Elevation Parameters, Version 1 (ATL28) are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). These data sets contain several gridded terrain and canopy elevation parameters derived from the 20 m geosegment height measurements of ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Land and Vegetation Height (ATL08). These include developed parameters like terrain slope and a canopy vertical distribution ratio in addition to heights. ATL18 is a composite of data over the entire mission, while ATL28 provides monthly data, allowing users to build their own temporal composites.
