The Bootstrap Sea Ice Concentrations from Nimbus-7 SMMR and DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS, Version 4 data set is now available from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). With Version 4, the data are now provided in NetCDF format, and temporal coverage is extended to March 31, 2023. Links to scripts that convert the NetCDF back to the original binary format are available in the data set documentation. The Version 3 data in binary format will remain available until May 2024. After that date, the data will only be provided in NetCDF format.
