New version available: ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Annual Land Ice Height (ATL11), Version 5

The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Annual Land Ice Height (ATL11) data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated to Version 5. Changes to this version include: addition of cycles 12 and 13 of the ICESat-2 data, removal of some orbit specific parameters that are not needed for ATL11, and implementation of mean-tide inclusion for converting geoid heights. The ATL11 data set provides time series of land-ice surface heights derived from the ICESat-2 ATL06 Land-ice Height product. It is intended as an input for higher level gridded products, but can also be used on its own as a spatially organized product that allows easy access to height-change information derived from ICESat-2 observations. Spatial coverage includes the regions poleward of 60° N and 60° S. Data now span 29 March 2019 to 22 December 2021.
