NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) would like to announce new updates for MEaSUREs Greenland Ice Velocity: Selected Glacier Site Velocity Maps from Optical Images, Version 2. The updates include the following:
- Temporal coverage expanded to 1985-2016 using data from Landsat 4 and 5
- A more aggressive filtering method was applied to remove the following small, isolated clusters of data:
- Ecoast-62.10N: OPT_E62.10N_2003-09, OPT_E62.10N_2003-10, OPT_E62.10N_2004-09, OPT_E62.10N_2004-10
- Ecoast-64.65N: OPT_E64.65N_2011-09, OPT_E64.65N_2011-10
- Spatial coverage was increased by 24 new grids
