The SnowEx23 Airborne Orthoimagery, Version 1 (SNEX23_Photo) and SnowEx23 Mar23 IOP Computed Tomography Snow Microstructure, Version 1 (SNEX23_MAR23_CTSM) data sets are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). The SNEX23_Photo data set contains aerial photogrammetry images collected from both a boreal forest environment in the Fairbanks region of central Alaska and a coastal tundra environment in the North Slope region of the northern Alaska coastal plain. The SNEX23_MAR23_CTSM data set characterizes snow microstructure for 11 snow pits from the SnowEx 2023 NASA field campaign Intensive Observation Period using microcomputed tomography. Temporal coverages span from 11 March 2022 to 13 March 2023 and 7 March 2023 to 16 March 2023, respectively.
