Data Announcement

New data set releases: SnowEx20-21 QSI Lidar DEM, Snow Depth, and Vegetation Height 3m UTM Grid, Version 1

The SnowEx20-21 QSI Lidar DEM 3m UTM Grid (SNEX20_QS1_DEM), Version 1, SnowEx20-21 QSI Lidar Snow Depth 3m UTM Grid (SNEX20_QS1_SD), Version 1 and SnowEx20-21 QSI Lidar Vegetation Height 3m UTM Grid (SNEX20_QS1_VH), Version 1 data sets are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). These data sets, part of the SnowEx 2020 and SnowEx 2021 campaigns, provide digital elevation models, snow depth, and vegetation height, acquired by a scanning lidar system and derived from Point Cloud Digital Terrain Models (PCDTMs). Data were acquired over multiple areas in Colorado, Idaho, and Utah during February 2020, March 2021, and September 2021.
