The SnowEx23 Laser Snow Microstructure Specific Surface Area Snow-off Data, Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains vertical profiles of snow reflectance and specific surface area (SSA) from the Fairbanks region of central Alaska and the North Slope region of the northern Alaska coastal plain, collected as part of the NASA SnowEx 2023 field campaign. Temporal coverage spans from 17 October 2023 through 28 October 2023.
