The SnowEx23 Laser Snow Microstructure Specific Surface Area Data, Version 1 (SNEX23_SSA) data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains vertical profiles of snow reflectance and specific surface area (SSA) from the Fairbanks region of central Alaska and the North Slope region of the northern Alaska coastal plain. Temporal coverage spans from 6 March 2023 to 16 March 2023.
