The SnowEx17 Ground-Based UWScat Ku- and X-Band Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Radar, Version 1 data set has been updated from a basic to a standard level of service at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set consists of ground-based scatterometer data acquired from 21 February 2017 to 25 February 2017 as part of NASA’s SnowEx 2017 campaign at Grand Mesa, Colorado, USA. The data comprise operational parameters used during data acquisition, Mueller matrices for each acquisition, and nearfield-corrected normalized radar cross sections (NRCS). Range profile data are also provided for each scan which report the raw power returned as a function of range from the antenna.
