Data set updates: MEaSUREs Greenland Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR and Landsat, Version 5

The MEaSUREs Greenland Annual Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR and Landsat, Version 5, the MEaSUREs Greenland Quarterly Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR and Landsat, Version 5, and the MEaSUREs Greenland Monthly Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR and Landsat, Version 5 data sets, available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), have been updated. New data has been added, extending the Annual product temporal coverage to 30 November 2023 and the Quarterly/Monthly temporal coverages to 31 May 2024.

These data sets consist of annual, quarterly (three-month interval), and monthly ice velocity mosaics for the Greenland Ice Sheet. The data are derived from Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data, obtained by TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X and Sentinel-1A and -1B, as well as from optical imagery taken by Landsat 8 and Landsat 9. These data sets are part of the NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program.
