The MEaSUREs Greenland Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR and Landsat, Version 2 data sets have been updated. These annual, quarterly and monthly data sets have been reprocessed using a more rigorous culling scheme and a new DEM. The dT parameter, which can be used to assess the temporal skew in the data, is now also available for the annual and monthly data sets. New data have been added so the data sets now span 01 December 2014 - 30 November 2019. The data are available as cloud-optimized GeoTIFFs and the file naming convention has changed.
These data sets are part of the NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) program. They contain annual, quarterly or monthly ice velocity mosaics for the Greenland Ice Sheet derived from SAR data and Landsat imagery.
The data access locations for the quarterly and monthly data sets have changed. Users accessing these data sets through a script will need to update accordingly:
