The Polar Pathfinder Daily 25 km EASE-Grid Sea Ice Motion Vectors, Version 4 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated to Version 4.1. This update corrects previously reported errors in addition to the changes described below:
- The v field was updated from an integer to a floating point.
- The metadata summaries of the u and v fields were corrected to reflect the fact that the values are not scaled by a factor of 0.1. Additionally, the v metadata field description was corrected.
- Lastly, file names were updated to include the version number and start / end dates.
