The data access location for the Near-Real-Time DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Pathfinder Daily EASE-Grid Brightness Temperatures, Version 2 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has changed. This data set contains daily, near-real-time Special Sensor Microwave Imager/Sounder (SSMIS) brightness temperatures in the Equal-Area Scalable Earth-Grid (EASE-Grid). Data are available in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres and at a spatial resolution of 25 km. The data set lags by one day from the present and provides 365 days of near-real-time data. Data are contained in flat binary files.
