The MEaSUREs Greenland 6 and 12 day Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR, Version 2 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated. The velocity mosaics data now cover the period from 1 January 2015 to 24 May 2023.
This data set, which is part of the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program, provides 6 and 12 day surface velocity estimates for the Greenland Ice Sheet and its periphery. Velocities are derived from images acquired by the European Space Agency (ESA) Copernicus Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B satellites.
