The MEaSUREs Calibrated Enhanced-Resolution Passive Microwave Daily EASE-Grid 2.0 Brightness Temperature ESDR, Version 1 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated through 31 December 2019. This data set is an improved, enhanced-resolution, gridded passive microwave Earth System Data Record (ESDR) for monitoring cryospheric and hydrologic time series. Data are derived from the Scanning Multichannel Microwave Radiometer (SMMR) sensor aboard the NIMBUS-7 satellite, the Special Sensor Microwave/Imager (SSM/I) and Special Sensor Microwave Imager/Sounder (SSMIS) sensors aboard various Defense Meteorological Satellite Program satellites, and the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer - Earth Observing System (AMSRE) sensor aboard the AQUA satellite. Data are available from 25 October 1978 through 31 December 2019.
