Collaborative Research: Stable Isotopes of Ice in the WAIS Divide Deep Ice Core, Version 1
Data set id:
NSIDC-0662
Overview
These data are the stable isotopic concentrations for δ18O, δD and D-excess vs. Depth for the WAIS Divide Deep Ice core WD06CA from West Antarctica (79° 28.058′ S, 112° 05.189′ W). This high-resolution data set was produced at INSTAAR, University of Colorado Stable Isotope Lab, and a companion low-resolution data set was produced at the University of Washington IsoLab. This data set is part of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet (WAIS) Divide ice core project, a large, multi-institution collaborative effort that culminated in drilling a deep ice core to a final depth of 3405 meters in December 2011.
