NON-NSIDC DATA PRODUCT
Dear data users, NSIDC does not archive or provide citation guidance for these data.
Overview
This data set includes active layer depth and groundwater data from boreholes in the Yana River Area, Russia. Boreholes ranged in depth from 5 to 200 m. The project also measured permafrost extent and described active periglacial processes. Data were collected during 1945, 1952, 1961, 1971-72, 1983, 1985, and 1989.
