About Amy
Amy Steiker is the Data Services Engineer for the NASA Snow and Ice Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) at NSIDC. She specializes in the development and management of data education resources, tools, and services for NSIDC DAAC’s growing user community, as well as cloud-based data transformation service development as part of NASA's Earth Observing System Data and Information System. She continues to pursue efforts improving the accessibility and utility of NSIDC DAAC’s data from a data user’s perspective, growing her focus and expertise on cloud computing and open-source resources for cloud-based data access and analysis.
