New versions release: ATLAS/ICESat-2 Gridded Land Ice Height products: ATL14 and ATL15

ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Gridded Antarctic and Arctic Land Ice Height, Version 5 (ATL14), and ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Gridded Antarctic and Arctic Land Ice Height Change, Version 5 (ATL15) are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). These data sets contain gridded land ice products derived from the Advanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System (ATLAS) instrument on board the ICESat-2 observatory. Land ice height 100m grids for different polar land regions are provided in ATL14, with Antarctica split into four quadrants. Change in land ice height over time is provided in the same regions at varying spatial and temporal resolutions in ATL15.

Previous versions of these data will be retired from the NSIDC DAAC in 6 months time. Upon retirement, data will no longer be accessible, but all related documentation will remain available on the data set web page for future reference.
