ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Along Track Coastal and Nearshore Bathymetry, Version 2 is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains global along-track coastal and nearshore bathymetry, consisting of refraction-corrected seafloor and sea surface heights (orthometric and ellipsoidal heights and instantaneous depths), as well as associated uncertainties. This version includes new algorithm processing that improves removal of false positives of bathymetry photons at the sea surface and in the water column.
The previous version of these data will be retired from the NSIDC DAAC in 6 months time. Upon retirement, data will no longer be accessible, but all related documentation will remain available on the data set web page for future reference.
