ATLAS/ICESat-2 ATL02 Linear Impulse Response, Version 1 is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This ancillary ICESat-2 data set contains the linear impulse response in units of time-of-flight, which was measured over the Salar de Uyuni using ATL02 photon data. The linear impulse response describes the observed shape of the laser pulse after its return off a flat surface and through the ATLAS instrument, useful for modeling (sub-)surface scattering or correcting for instrument effects.
