The MEaSUREs Greenland 6 and 12 day Ice Sheet Velocity Mosaics from SAR, Version 2 data set, available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated. Sentinel-1C data has been added, and the temporal coverage has been extended to 27 December 2025. Also note: Changes in cloud storage protocols necessitated a minor change to the file naming convention. As such, all preexisting files were renamed (no change to the data) to match the new convention and the data set was versioned up to V02.1. This data set, part of the NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program, contains 6 and 12 day surface velocity estimates for the Greenland Ice Sheet and periphery for the time period of 1 January 2015 to 27 December 2025. Velocities are derived from images acquired by the European Space Agency (ESA) Copernicus Sentinel-1A, -1B, and -1C satellites.
