Overview

Airborne electromagnetic (AEM) induction measurements of sea ice thickness in the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas made annually in March and April from 2007-2015 as part of the Seasonal Ice Zone Observing Network (SIZONet). Data provide measurements of total snow and ice thickness along transects flown by helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft from Barrow, Alaska.
