Overview
This data set includes measurements of ground temperature, active-layer and permafrost thickness, and soil properties in the Gijiga Lowland, Russia. Massive ground ice and periglacial processes are also described. Data were collected during 1959-62, 1968, 1973, 1976, and 1980-1984.
