Data set update: CryoSat-2 Level-4 Sea Ice Elevation, Freeboard, and Thickness

The CryoSat-2 Level-4 Sea Ice Elevation, Freeboard, and Thickness, Version 1 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated to include data through March 2022. Data will be updated on a regular basis through May with a temporal lag of approximately 1.5 months between the most recent file and the present date. This data set contains estimates of Arctic sea ice thickness and concentration, ice freeboard and surface roughness, as well as snow density and depth, derived from the ESA CryoSat-2 Synthetic Aperture Interferometric Radar Altimeter (SIRAL).
