Permafrost monitoring and prediction in Southern Carpathians, Romania, Version 1
This study monitored the summer temperatures (July and August) of the springs at the base of the rock glaciers' fronts and talus cones of Fagaras and Retezat Mountains. These water measurements have been made since 1986. BTS (bottom temperature of snow) measurements were made in the same areas during the second and third weeks of February since 1992. Data are presented on the CAPS Version 1.0 CD-ROM, June 1998.
