About Seamus
Seamus McAfee is a communications and marketing specialist with a passion for bringing awareness to the planet’s environmental changes, and what they mean for the world at large. As the Science Communications Service Group Manager, McAfee is responsible for developing and implementing strategies where NSIDC can connect with the media, online users, and other audiences and show how NSIDC’s data and research can be used by anyone to gain a greater understanding of Earth’s ice and snow-covered ecosystems. He brings to the role experience from both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, most recently as the marketing and communications manager of the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, TX.
