The ASO L4 Lidar Point Cloud Digital Terrain Model 3m UTM Grid, Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set provides 3 m gridded, bare-earth elevations (excluding trees) that are used as the baseline for the Airborne Snow Observatory (ASO) snow-on products. The data were collected during snow-free conditions as part of the NASA/JPL ASO aircraft survey campaigns.
The IceBridge Narrow Swath ATM L1B Elevation and Return Strength, Version 2 data set has been updated from 03 April 2019 through 16 May 2019 to include data from the 2019 Arctic campaign at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains spot elevation measurements of Greenland, Arctic, and Antarctic sea ice acquired by the NASA Airborne Topographic Mapper (ATM) narrow-swath instrumentation.
The IceBridge Narrow Swath ATM L1B Elevation and Return Strength with Waveforms, Version 1 data set has been updated from 03 April 2019 through 16 May 2019 to include data from the 2019 Arctic campaign at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains spot elevation measurements with corresponding waveforms of Greenland, Arctic, and Antarctic sea ice acquired by the NASA Airborne Topographic Mapper (ATM) narrow-swath instrumentation.
Multiple VIIRS snow cover data sets, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), have been reprocessed due to an error in the planetary ephemeris data. This resulted in the use of incorrect solar and lunar vectors for the period 16 Jan. 2020 00:00:00 - 17 Jan 2020 10:00:00. The affected files were reprocessed and redelivered on 6 March 2020.
