The IceBridge ATM L2 Icessn Elevation, Slope, and Roughness, Version 2 data set has been updated through 01 May 2018 to now include 2018 Greenland campaign data at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains resampled and smoothed elevation measurements of Arctic and Antarctic sea ice, and Greenland, Antarctic Peninsula, and West Antarctic region land ice surface acquired using the NASA Airborne Topographic Mapper (ATM) instrumentation.
The IceBridge ATM L1B Elevation and Return Strength with Waveforms, Version 1 data set now includes data through 01 May 2018 for the 2018 Greenland campaign at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains spot elevation measurements with corresponding waveforms of Arctic and Antarctic sea ice, and Greenland, Antarctic Peninsula, and West Antarctic region ice surface acquired using the NASA Airborne Topographic Mapper (ATM) instrumentation.
The AMSR-E/AMSR2 Unified L3 Daily 12.5 km Brightness Temperatures, Sea Ice Concentration, Motion & Snow Depth Polar Grids, Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set includes daily brightness temperature fields for channels ranging from 18.7 GHz through 89.0 GHz, daily sea ice concentration fields, and daily sea ice concentration difference fields for ascending orbits, descending orbits, and full orbit daily averages.
The IceBridge LVIS L0 Raw Ranges, Version 1 data set has been updated through 20 September 2017 to include data from the 2017 Greenland campaign at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains raw laser altimeter, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Global Positioning System (GPS), and camera data over Greenland, Antarctica, and Alaska taken from the NASA Land, Vegetation, and Ice Sensor (LVIS).
The SnowEx17 UM Quantum Well Infrared Photodetector (QWIP) Surface Temperature, Version 1 data set is now available from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC).
Data access options have been updated for the MEaSUREs Antarctic Grounding Line from Differential Satellite Radar Interferometry, Version 2 data set accessible from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC).
The High Mountain Asia TRMM-derived 3B42 Extreme Precipitation Indices, Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set features seven standard annual mean extreme precipitation indices spanning 1999 to 2017 that were selected on the basis of potential relevance to landslide activity. The seven indices were calculated from 3B42 Version 7 daily satellite precipitation estimates.  
The High Mountain Asia GFDL FLOR Modeled Extreme Precipitation Indices, Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC).
The High Mountain Asia Gridded Glacier Thickness Change from Multi-Sensor DEMs, Version 1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains gridded thickness changes for approximately 650 Himalayan glaciers between 1975 and 2000, and 1040 Himalayan glaciers between 2000 and 2016. The data were derived from HEXAGON KH-9 and ASTER digital elevation models (DEMs). This data set is available as part of an early release.
The IceBridge UAF Lidar Scanner L1B Geolocated Surface Elevation Triplets, Version 1 data set now includes data through 29 August 2018 for the 2018 Alaska campaign at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains scanning laser altimetry data points acquired by the airborne University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Glacier Lidar system. Data Set DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/AATE4JJ91EHC
The SMAP/In Situ Core Validation Site Land Surface Parameters Match-Up Data, Version 1 data set has been updated from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). SMAP soil moisture data products are matched with in situ-based soil moisture estimates from core validation sites to produce this data set. These data provide performance assessments of various SMAP soil moisture products.
The IceBridge MCoRDS L2 Ice Thickness, Version 1 data set available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) has been updated through 18 December 2017. This data set contains depth sounder measurements of elevation, surface, bottom, and thickness taken from the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) Multichannel Coherent Radar Depth Sounder (MCoRDS). The IceBridge MCoRDS L1B Geolocated Radar Echo Strength Profiles, Version 2 data set available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) has been updated through 18 December 2017. This data set contains radar echograms taken from the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) Multichannel Coherent Radar Depth Sounder (MCoRDS). The AfriSAR LVIS L2 Geolocated Surface Elevation Product data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) from 20 February 2016 to 08 March 2016. This data set contains surface elevation measurements from NASA's Land, Vegetation, and Ice Sensor (LVIS) over Gabon, Africa. The data were collected as part of a NASA campaign, in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) mission AfriSAR.
The AfriSAR LVIS L1B Geolocated Return Energy Waveforms data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) from 20 February 2016 to 08 March 2016. This data set contains laser altimetry return energy waveform measurements over Gabon, Africa, collected for the AfriSAR mission by the NASA Land, Vegetation, and Ice Sensor (LVIS). The mission was a collaboration between NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Gabonese Space Agency.
The IceBridge L1B Thinned Flight Lines data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) from 27 March 2009 to 19 April 2018. This data set contains simplified, or thinned, flight lines from NASA Operation IceBridge Greenland, Arctic, Antarctic, and Alaska missions. The thinning was performed using a Python library called Shapely. The full resolution flight line data were collected as part of Operation IceBridge funded aircraft survey campaigns.
The MEaSUREs Greenland Image Mosaics from Sentinel-1A and -1B, Version 2 data set, available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) has been updated with mosaics through August 2018. This data set, part of the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program, provides 6 and 12-day 50 m resolution image mosaics of the Greenland coastline and ice sheet periphery beginning in January 2015.
The DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Pathfinder Daily EASE-Grid Brightness Temperatures, Version 2 data set, distributed by the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) has been extended through 2 October 2018. The spatial resolution is 25 km for all channels; the 85 and 91 GHz channels are also provided at a 12.5 km resolution. Data Set DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/3EX2U1DV3434
The DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Daily Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures, Version 4 data set, distributed by the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) has been extended through 2 October 2018. Data at 85.5 GHz and 91.7 GHz are gridded at a resolution of 12.5 km, with all other frequencies at a resolution of 25 km. Data Set DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/AN9AI8EO7PX0
