The F15 data from the MEaSUREs Calibrated Enhanced-Resolution Passive Microwave Daily EASE-Grid 2.0 Brightness Temperature ESDR, Version 1 data set is now available at version 1.2. The minor change in this version corrects the handling of QC flags to retain more data, eliminating only the flagged data in a given channel and taking care not to eliminate data in other channels. This data set is part of the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program.

NASA IceBridge DMS L1B Geolocated and Orthorectified Images for the Summer 2017 Arctic campaign are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains Level-1B imagery taken from the Digital Mapping System (DMS) over Greenland and Antarctica. Data set DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/OZ6VNOPMPRJ0
NASA IceBridge DMS L0 Raw Imagery for the Summer 2017 Arctic campaign is now available from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains level zero imagery taken from the Digital Mapping System (DMS) over Antarctica and Greenland. Data Set DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/UMFN22VHGGMH
The MEaSUREs Greenland Image Mosaics from Sentinel-1A and 1B, Version 2.1 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) with a minor version update and July 2017 data. For version 2.1, Sentinel-1, track 83 was added to the data beginning with the May 2017 mosaic. This new track improves coverage in the southern part of the ice sheet. This data set is part of the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program.
Version 4 of the MEaSUREs Global Record of Daily Landscape Freeze/Thaw Status data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). New for this version:
NSIDC would like to announce a change to data access for the MEaSUREs InSAR-Based Antarctica Ice Velocity Map, Version 2 data set. Data access is now solely through our primary portal at: https://n5eil01u.ecs.nsidc.org/MEASURES/NSIDC-0484.002/. File level spatial and temporal metadata have been added to aid in searching the data. DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/D7GK8F5J8M8R
NSIDC would like to announce new data available for the MEaSUREs Greenland Ice Sheet Velocity Map from InSAR Data, Version 2 data set. Seasonal (winter) velocity maps for 2014/15, 2015/16, and 2016/17 from TSX/TDX and Sentinel-1 are now available. This data is posted at both 500 m and 200 m resolution. This release also includes the addition of full record ancillary shapefiles that contain information about the satellite tracks used to produce the mosaics as well as browse images of the magnitudes.
Field data from the Soil Moisture Active Passive Validation Experiment 2015 (SMAPVEX15) validation campaign are now available at the National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). The new data set is the first of many for the SMAPVEX15 campaign and contains brightness temperatures obtained by the Passive Active L-band System (PALS) aircraft instrument.
The F13 data from the MEaSUREs Calibrated Enhanced-Resolution Passive Microwave Daily EASE-Grid 2.0 Brightness Temperature ESDR, Version 1 data set is now available at version 1.2. The minor change in this version corrects the handling of QC flags to retain more data, eliminating only the flagged data in a given channel and taking care not to eliminate data in other channels. This data set is part of the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program.
The Northern Hemisphere EASE-Grid 2.0 Weekly Snow Cover and Sea Ice Extent data set available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) has been updated through 25 December 2016. Data Set DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/P7O0HGJLYUQU
