The Sea Ice Concentrations from Nimbus-7 SMMR and DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Passive Microwave Data, Version 2 data set is now available from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). With Version 2, the data are now provided in NetCDF format. Links to scripts that convert the NetCDF back to the original binary format are available in the data set documentation. The Version 1 data in binary format will remain available until 31 January 2023. After that date, data will only be provided in NetCDF format.
