The NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) has released Version 2 of MEaSUREs Greenland Ice Sheet Velocity Map from InSAR Data. This update offers users a new winter velocity map for 2009/2010 plus processing enhancements that include:
- Additional quality control screening to remove bad data points;
- Improved baseline fits that enhance consistency in the interior;
- Updated error estimates that better represent the average behavior of the data;
- The addition of ALOS fine-beam data to improve coverage
