VIIRS swath data customization options are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). VIIRS 6-minute swath (VNP10, VNP29, & VNP30) datasets use algorithms specifically designed to be compatible with MODIS Terra and Aqua Version 6 datasets.
In addition, data customization options for VIIRS are similar to MODIS and include subsetting, reformatting, and reprojection. These options are provided by NASA Earthdata Search or can also be accessed programmatically.
