The MEaSUREs BedMachine Antarctica, Version 2 data set, accessible from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated to a new version. Additional ice thickness data have been used to constrain the bed topography under grounded ice, and new multi beam ocean bathymetry data and gravity inversions have been integrated for the Amundsen sea embayment. An error in geoid height was also corrected for the IBCSO bathymetry.
This data set is part of the NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) program. It contains a bed topography/bathymetry map of Antarctica based on mass conservation, streamline diffusion, and other methods.
