New versions released: Version 4 AMSR-E/Aqua Daily L3 6.25/12.5/25km Brightness Temperatures and Sea Ice Polar Gridded Data now available

Version 4 data sets of AMSR-E/Aqua Daily L3 6.25 km 89 GHz Brightness Temperature Polar Grids, AMSR-E/Aqua Daily L3 12.5 km Brightness Temperature, Sea Ice Concentration, & Snow Depth Polar Grids, and AMSR-E/Aqua Daily L3 25 km Brightness Temperature & Sea Ice Concentration Polar Grids are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). These data sets include brightness temperatures at 6.9 through 89.0 GHz, sea ice concentrations, and snow depths over sea ice, on north and south polar stereographic grids at 6.25, 12.5 and 25 km spatial resolutions.

Version 3 of these data sets will be retired from the NASA NSIDC DAAC on 03 February 2026. Upon retirement, data will no longer be accessible, but all related documentation will remain available on the data set web page for future reference.
