The MEaSUREs Annual Greenland Outlet Glacier Terminus Positions from SAR Mosaics, Version 2 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) is now available. New data have been added so the data set now spans winter seasons from 2000 to 2021. Gaps in the mosaic coverage throughout the data record have been filled in using Landsat-7 and -8 imagery, so every winter season now contains terminus locations for every glacier. The fields in the attribute tables have changed slightly and are now consistent across all the files. The filenames have also changed slightly, the years are given in YYYY instead of YY.
This data set consists of annual, digitized ice front positions for 239 outlet glaciers in Greenland. It is produced under the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) program.
