Algorithm updated to: Validated 14 – Stage 1
Summary of updates: Includes an improved land mask for Antarctica, created from a National Ice Center (NIC) landmask shapefile. The NIC shapefile is the newest ice shelf definition, completed by NIC Science Department in June 2011. The shoreline was developed from ENVISAT and RADARSAT imagery from October 2009 until April 2010.
AMSR-E/Aqua Daily L3 100 km Sea Ice Drift Polar Grids
Algorithm updated to: Beta 03
Summary of updates: Includes browse imagery. Reprocessing will span entire AMSR-E mission. Users should note that the Beta 02 algorithm was not publicly released. Reprocessing from the beginning of the mission onward is currently underway for these products. We will notify registered users when reprocessing is complete.
